of flattened and tapering form, moulded in relief to the front with a cockerel chasing a fly, and painted on the reverse with fruiting apples, the sides with applied rosette bosses, painted mark 'Wemyss Ware R.H. & S.' and with blue printed retailers mark (restoration)
