An identical plaque is fitted above one of the chimneypieces in the members room of the Glasgow Art Club at 185 Bath Street, Glasgow. The club was extended in 1890 under the stewardship of the well known firm of Honeyman and Keppie for whom Charles Rennie Mackintosh was working. Mackintosh was largely responsible for the interiors of this room.
