Note: Wendy Wood (1892-1981) was an artist, writer, and campaigner for Scottish Independence. She was a founder of the original National Party of Scotland in 1928. Wood's work was heavily influenced by her passion for Scotland, a love nurtured by her parents, which continued in the form of protests, campaigns and speeches, as well as sculptures, paintings and the written word.
