Note: This elaborate carved panel demonstrates several elements of Glasgow Style aesthetic; from the angular sinews near the base to the seed head element on the upper portion. The unusual scrolling foliate tendrils are stylistically similar to the work of the Dutch artist Jan Toorop, who had a huge impact on Glasgow artists at the time.
