Note: 'Le Pavillion' opened at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in August 1936. Beaton designed the costumes and set in various shades of blue and it was the first of Colonel de Basil's productions at Covent Garden designed by an Englishman. The story was by Boris Kochno, music by Borodin and the choreography was by Lichine.
