Note: Parsons studied at the Art Students' League in New York City. In 1903, she was appointed to design the pediment to the entrance hall in the Liberal Arts building at the St Louis fair. Scenes of animals and children make up the vast majority of her work, often seen together such as in her Frog Baby Fountain from 1937 which is currently set in the Ball State University campus. These bookends depicting terriers are marked with the name of the Gorham Manufacturing Company, one of the largest silver and sculpture foundries in the United States of America, for whom she created works.
