Note: The Compton Potter's Arts Guild was a pottery founded by sculptor and social activist Mary Fraser Tytler in order to offer employment to the poor of Compton. The pottery ran from 1899 to 1954, producing large amounts of objects from terracotta garden pottery to smaller household figurines, plaques and jugs in the Arts and Crafts, and Gothic Revival manner - selling in prominent department stores such as Liberty & Co.
