Note: Patrick Reyntiens is renowned for his work in churches and cathedrals in the UK and internationally. His early career was spent working predominantly as the artist/interpreter for John Piper and during the 1960s he collaborated with Piper on glass designs for such buildings as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King in Liverpool and the Baptistery Window of Coventry Cathedral.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s he made a series of panels intended for private collections and interiors on themes that have long interested him, such as Greek mythology, the Commedia del Arte and other subjects, of which this present example is one.
