Note: Fred Baier was commissioned to design furniture for Raymond McGrath's' 1934 modernist house, St. Anne's Court, where a very similar cabinet can be seen.
A graduate of the Royal Collage of Art, his works are in numerous international collections including the Victoria and Albert in London, the Crafts Council, London, Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery and the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh.
