Note: John Henry White was commissioned by British Steel to make a sculpture for Kilbirnie, the vendor was impressed with the piece when seen at the unveiling on 8th June 1974, and decided to commission a work from the artist, for their personal garden. It was made in 1974, from Gartcosh steel, and has remained in the family until now.
