Notes: Helen Flockhart is one of the most accomplished painters of her generation. Born in Scotland, she was awarded a BA (Hons) First Class in Painting at the Glasgow School of Art in 1985. Since then she has built a formidable reputation through numerous exhibitions in Britain, Europe and America. Her work is also held in several private, corporate and public collections, including the Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow, the Scottish Arts Council, Edinburgh City Arts Centre and the Fleming Collection of Scottish Art, London.
