On the 8th August 1969, at 11.30am, The Beatles crossed the pedestrian crossing by Abbey Road Studios to pose for their legendary pictures captured by British photographer Iain MacMillan, for the front cover of their new album. Only six pictures were taken in all, and teh photo shoot lasted for 10 minutes. Since then millions of people have posed on the crossing to recreate this iconic photo.
