This work is an original stencilled paste-up which appeared on a now demolished wall in Southwark near Tate Modern in 2007. It is illustrated in Thames & Hudson's book, 'Blek le Rat, Gettting Through the Walls', published by in 2008, page 113.
The use of the image of a Beggar sleeping rough appears throughout Blek's work and develops out of the artist's conviction that urban art can be used as a tool to influence social action by emphasising certiain relevant social issues.
