with two short straight sides and two long convex sides flaring from a straight foot of conforming shape, the long exterior sides each carved with a cartouche containing a sword, tied with a ribbon, against a leiwen diaper ground, reserved against leafy prunus, the ends with leafy lotus, the corners with geometric scrolls, the interior carved with leafy prunus and lotus, the well with a hexagonal floral diaper enclosed by a key-fret band, the foot carved with key-fret, the base lacquered black
