Description
the rounded sides rising from a raised foot to an everted rim, the exterior deeply carved through layers of black and red lacquer with five ruyi-head shaped pommels, the layers of red lacquer appearing in seven thin lines sandwiched between the black lacquer, the base carved with a trefoil motif, the interior applied with a silver lining, with later fitted wood box (2)
