Note: Joseph Drury (1750-1834) was the famous headmaster of Harrow School. Appointed in 1785 he held the mastership for twenty years, revitilizing the school and inspiring many pupils including Byron who refers to him in a note to Childe Harold. Charles Drury was his third son.
