170 vellum leaves, 13.8 x 8.6cm., one leaf with illuminated miniature containing the end of Psalm 96 misbound at beginning, illuminated in red, green, blue, brown and gold, with anthropomorphic animals, rabbits, monkeys, birds & dogs, capital letters in gold, early nineteenth century red morocco gilt, some gatherings bound in the wrong order, most of the leaves containing miniatures removed
