A.L.S. to Ismael Boulliau, 2 pages, in Latin, stating that he met Jacques Auguste de Thou regularly and discussed Boulliau and scholarly life in the Republic of Letters, complaining that he does not have any informant who would be willing to write him on a regular basis on the news in France, Emeric Bigot, Gilles Menage and Jean Chapelain all being unable to do so and suggesting that Boulliau was the right man for the job, taking into account that his patron De Thou would also profit from the news, The Hague, 18 Feb. 1660; Heinsius, Daniel A.L.S. to Mons Pierre du Puys (?), Advocat au Parlement à Paris, giving some scholarly news on a book he is preparing, 1 page with integral address leaf, in Latin, Leyden, 1638 (2)
