First edition, 8vo, 2 volumes, 16 wood-engraved plates by George Cruikshank, pale yellow coated endpapers, original olive-green embossed leaf-pattern cloth, spines with decorative shield and lettering in gilt, slipcase, lacking protective tissue volume I, plates discoloured, some occasional spotting, recased and rebacked, preserving entire original backstrip volume I and upper two-thirds only volume II (2)
