Note: Kress C4744. In the first four volumes, of this, the author' s best know work, he deals with the prices of corn and the circumstances affecting prices, the prices of producing other products, and the state of circulation. The final two volumes, written in conjunction with William Newmarch, deal with railways, free trade, banking in Europe and the effects of new discoveries of gold.
