A description of the chanonry in Aberdeen. MS, circa 1750, 12mo, pp. 180, contemporary full calf, front endpaper torn
Note: William Orem, historian of Aberdeen, completed the above work c.1725. The work has been much quoted by later historians, the earliest reference being extracts in Gough’s “British Topographia” (1780). The work remained in manuscript for several year’s after the author’s death and was finally printed by J. Chambers at Aberdeen in 1791 and 1830.
