Footnote
Second edition, a year after the first, no other copy traced in auction records. Both editions are different translations of the same manuscript, the present translation being anonymous and curiously not mentioning John Colson's version of the previous year. The work was finished by Newton shortly before his death and the manuscript entrusted to Henry Pemberton, who never published it himself.
