gelatin silver prints: 7 measuring 20 x 15cm, of which 3 depicting the 1964 Arabic League summit at Alexandria, including a portrait of Sheikh Abdullah al-Salim Al Sabah (1895-1965), Emir of Kuwait, with Gamal Abdel Nasser (these all with Arabic captions mounted to versos), and 4 variously depicting Sheikh Abdullah at his desk in the Seif Palace during Iraqi invasion threat of 1961, Sheikh Abdullah and his armed bodyguard in the Seif Palace (marked up for printing with Chinese white), Arab League secretary general Mohamed Hassouna at the Seif Palace, and Abdullah al-Jabir Al Sabah, minister of education, arriving in Cairo for his honeymoon (these all with with Associated Press ink-stamps and typescript captions in English mounted to versos); 5 smaller photographs, variously depicting Gamal Abdel Nasser conferring the order of the Republic on Fahd al-Salim al-Salim, minister of public works (14 x 12cm, ink-stamp of Zachary Photopress Agency, Cairo and typescript caption to verso), members of the Kuwaiti royal family at the Humber car factory, Coventry, 1950 (10.5 x 15cm, Keystone ink-stamp and typescript caption to verso), arrival of Sheikh Sabah al-Salim Al Sabah (1913-1977), later Emir of Kuwait, and his son Sheikh Salim Al Sabah, at London Airport ‘to study British police methods’, 1955 (Keystone ink-stamp and typescript caption to verso), Sheikh Abdullah meeting Nasser (possibly an enlarged contact print, 13.6 x 8.5cm, ink-stamp of Oscar Kerstenbaum, Argentina), and a real-photo portrait postcard of Sheikh Abdullah (15 x 10cm, Arabic caption on verso);
