First Edinburgh edition (second overall), one of 3,000 copies, 8vo (22.4 x 14cm), xlviii [2] 10-368 pp., c.1900 crushed blue morocco by Henderson & Bisset of Edinburgh, twin fillet frames gilt to spine-compartments and covers, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, half-title, stipple-engraved portrait frontispiece, ‘Boxburgh' on p. xxxvii and ‘skinking’ on p. 263,&nbsp;frontispiece slightly spotted and offset, closed tear in Y2 neatly repaired, a notably wide-margined copy [ESTC T125274; Rothschild 556].&nbsp; Together with a related volume (Matthew Houston, Greenock Burns Club Annual Dinner, Greenock: James McKelvie, 1895, 4to, original crocodile-pattern maroon cloth, lithographed throughout)&nbsp;(2)
