The Library of a Scottish Gentleman
A rare and important example of the printed propaganda campaign mounted by Lord Wariston in favour of the National Covenant which he together with Alexander Henderson had drafted in February 1638. The work has in the past been erroneously attributed both to James Melville and to John Leslie Earl of Rothes.
