The Library of a Scottish Gentleman
A total of 1,000 copies were printed. This set contains all the requisite printing errors cited by Worthington (though not all found in ‘some copies’ only), and 55 of 57 of his key identifying pressmarks and similar points, those lacking being the pressmark ‘7’ at the foot of volume 2 pp. 26 and 324. Worthington may be mistaken in calling for the horizontal bar on the final leaf of volume 1 to be 26 mm; it is 22 mm in the present copy, though the matter is listed only as one of his numerous ‘additional’ points.
