the arched floral festoon painted dial signed Barrauds, Cornhill, London, with subsidiary dials for chime/silent and tune selection, the similarly signed and foliate engraved three train fusee and chain movement, chiming on the quarter hour and playing one of seven tunes on thirteen bells, the arched case inlaid with a lion cresting and flanked by twin sphinx caryatids, with gothic pierced sound frets and raised on brass toupie feet
