Description
清 剔紅長方花盆 嵌仿生玉石花卉盆景
the cinnabar lacquer flower pot of rectangular form, supported on four splayed feet and terminating to an everted rim, each side finely carved with small figures in outdoor landscape in cartouche, inset with a miniature floral plant made of agate and jade pieces in different colours

Footnote
There are two closely comparable cinnabar lacquer rectangular jardinières, both still inset with original jade and stone miniature landscape, were used in the Qing Court and now in the collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei, one, museum no. Gu Qi 故漆 255 and Gu Qi 故漆 256.
有兩件極為相似的剔紅長方形花盆,均仍鑲嵌有原有的玉石微型盆景,清宮舊藏,現藏於臺北國立故宮博物院,館藏編號故漆255及故漆256。
