painted with a fruiting pomegranate tree in a fenced garden below wispy clouds, two butterflies flitting nearby, inscribed with a two line stanza from the poem Returning to the Xuandu Temple by the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi reading 'Hundreds of acres—this garden is covered with moss; Peach flowers now cauliflowers, filling to the end.'
