Description
embroidered in couched gold threads on a ruby red ground with four large characters reading 'En Pu Shu Yuan' (the grace spreads to Shu Yuan [administrative region of the Qing dynasty]), amongst a pair of sinuous dragons chasing the flaming pearl and various precious objects, flanked by a pair of phoenix on the left and by a peacock on the right border, dated 'Winter, the 14th year of the Guangxu period', signed 'dedicated by Shen He Shop and Shen Xiang Shop in the capital city'
