potted standing foursquare on a rectangular plinth with a central supporting column, the body of the horse and the saddle covered in brownish orange glaze, halter and ropes in green glaze, manes and tail pigmented in black, leaving the inner legs, column and plinth unglazed, exposing the burnt orange clay body
