Description
with a harp playing classically draped maiden leaning against the rectangular pedestal housing the dial signed Callemand & Mortagne above an applied winged cherub, all on a rectangular base section with trumpet blowing winged maiden flanked by classical mask roundels, on a plinth base with scroll bracket feet, eight day bell striking movement, 62cm high; and a pair of late 19th century gilt metal candelabra, in the neo-classical style, each with a central sconce and four U-shaped branches with further sconces, on a tapering square stem hung with berried laurel swags and shaped square bases on bun feet, drilled for electricity, on gilt wood stands, 43cm high (excluding stands) (3)
