Note: General Peregrine Bertie, Third Duke of Ancaster and Kestevin (1714-78) inherited the title of Duke on the death of his father in 1742 and also became Lord Great Chamberlain, Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, and a member of the Privy Council. The other miniature is of his second wife Mary Wynn Panton.
