comprising: an 18th century French cut steel hilted sword,the hilt with chain link guard, the grip of faceted steel with raised studs, the shell guard pierced and studded, plain triangular blade in its original black leather scabbard; a gilt brass hilted court sword with cast decoration of trophy of arms, the hardwood grip carved into spiral, with triangular double edge blade; another court sword with cast hilt and with a double edged blade with Islamic inscriptions; an 18th century small sword with a cast gilt brass hilt and slender double edged blade; an 18th century British light cavalry troopers sword circa 1796, the stirrup hilt with centre lobe, plain wooden grip, curved single edged blade signed 'Wooley'; a foot artillery private's hanger with cast brass hilt and curved single edged blade dated on the back '1834'; an 18th century light dragoon troopers hanger with cast brass two bar hilt with curved single edge blade with single narrow fuller on the back edge; and a 19th century silver mounted Turkish yataghan, the grip of traditional form with hardwood half round slabs and with silver band over the grip, the inward curving single edge blade with Islamic inscription in original embossed leather scabbard with silver ringed locket and silver chape (8)
