of narrow proportions, the rectangular top with high brass gallery above a reeded pulvinated frieze with central drawer, on four ring turned legs ending in four boldly carved front facing lion paw feet

Two fly arm supports behing the top and hinge recesses would suggest that at some time the table has had further capacity for extension (inconsistent with the use of the curtain gallery) therefore a sign of probable adaption or later alteration
