the twin train movement with anchor escapment striking on a bell, the caddy top above foliate incised gilt frieze and brass dial with Roman numerals and rococo mask spandrels, the blacked centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the trunk door between reeded quadrant corners above conforming base, on bracket feet, the movement and case with some alterations and restorations
