Note:
The Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin was established in 1815 from the old Duchy in Northern German. It remained in existence until the German Revolution of 1918 when it became a free state. As a German Grand Duchy, it maintained a number of Consulates in Britain including the main branch in London, located at 124 Fenchurch Street.
