Footnote
Paul Iribe worked as a fashion illustrator for the renowned couturier Paul Poiret, as an interior designer for Jacques Doucet, the legendary collector and was Coco Chanel's lover. He was highly critical of the Paris Exposition because he was opposed to the all pervasive influence of Cubism as he perceived it.
