Note: The Newton School of Metal Workers was set up by a local landowner and farmer, William Hurrell at Newton, Cambridgeshire around 1890. The School first exhibits at the Industrial Loan and Exhibition in Royston in 1891 and was mentioned in The Studio in 1894.
