成化款 鬥彩雞缸杯
finely potted in with gently flared sides, around the exterior painted in faint outlines of underglaze blue and picked out in overglaze enamels with a lively continuous scene of two cockerel-and-hen groups, each group observing their chicks foraging for food, one cockerel with head turned back, the other arching his neck forward with his beak slightly opened, two groups divided on one side by ornamental rocks and yellow lily flowers with bright green leaves, the other with rose bush issuing brilliant red flowers on stylised rocks, the countersunk base inscribed with a six-character apocryphal Chenghua mark within double squares
