Note:
With the fashion for shorter haircuts of the 1950s, chandelier and tassel earrings became a popular for evening wear. Women were expected to wear more demure earrings for the day, so these convertible earrings served a dual purpose. The tassel fittings on these earrings convert a classic daytime look into spectacular evening cocktail jewellery.
