Our 02 February 2022 auction of Rare Books, Manuscripts, Maps & Photographs featuring the Classical and Romantic Library of the late William St Clair is led by an autographed letter from Mary, Queen of Scots to the French ambassador to England which sold for £32,500 including buyers premium, and a French first edition of Frans Balthasar Solvyns' Les Hinoûs which sold for £23,750 including buyers premium.
