Hayward & Stott is a Scottish silverware business founded in 1999 by Charlie Stott and Jeremy Hayward. Originally specialising in Scottish antiques, the company developed into a producer of contemporary sterling silver gifts, tableware and sporting accessories, drawing on Scotland's craftsmanship, heritage and traditions.
Following Jeremy Hayward's death in 2002, Charlie Stott directed the business towards designing and producing silverware. Since 2017, he has run the company alongside his son, Edwin Stott.
An important development came in 2019 with the launch of the Thistle Collection, designed by Hamish Dobbie. Inspired by Scotland's national emblem, sporting traditions and leisure pursuits, the collection includes distinctive silver drinking vessels and accessories that combine traditional references with contemporary design.
Hayward & Stott is particularly associated with sterling silver goblets, beakers, sporting accessories and objects featuring Scottish motifs. The company has also developed bespoke silver closures and embellishments for the spirits industry.
Its work reflects a continuing tradition of Scottish silversmithing, bringing historic forms and national symbolism into objects intended for modern use.
