Romey Clark is an Associate Specialist in the Fine Art department, bringing experience across both historic and contemporary art markets.
A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, where she studied History of Art, Romey began her career at Bonhams Auction House, working in both Edinburgh and London. She began working as the receptions and administrator before latterly working one day a week in the Scottish Picture department and later cataloguing for a range of sales in Knightsbridge, including 19th and early 20th century British and European Paintings, Marine Paintings, and Travel & Exploration.
Before joining Lyon & Turnbull, Romey spent two and a half years at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh as Gallery Coordinator and Registrar, managing selling exhibitions and working closely with contemporary Scottish artists.
Her experience across institutions and auction houses has given her a well-rounded understanding of the art market and a particular insight into the strength and diversity of the art market today.
