Mariam Sorour joined the Lyon & Turnbull team in 2025 and holds a BA in Professional Photography, graduating in 2020 with a BA and 2025 with her honours.
Her personal practice blurs the lines between photography, sculpture, and installation, often transforming constructed environments through set design and light projection.
Alongside her creative work, Mariam has built a successful career as a freelance photographer, producing everything from social event coverage to product photography and commissioned artworks. She brings a collaborative spirit to each project, working with independent businesses and creative teams alike.
With over four years’ experience as a creative assistant, she is also skilled in curating exhibitions, printmaking, retouching, and image-making.
