Areas of Specialism: Scottish Silver & Accessories and Silver & Objets de vertu
Kier has an MA in Cultural History and an MA in Museum Studies, so her focus has always been on the stories behind the objects.
In 2015 she began an internship with Lyon & Turnbull which involved work on a variety of sales including the exciting experience of witnessing the sale of the Massimiliano Soldani-Benzi's stunning bronze Ganymede and the Eagle, achieving a staggering £386,500.
Her main focus now is silver, especially the annual Scottish Silver & Applied Arts auction which always has lots of stories to tell through the interesting objects. From the gilded glamour of the Regency period to the austere Scottish Provincial ware, silver requires detective work to piece together the story.
