The William Morris Society, established in 1955, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the life, work, and ideals of William Morris, an influential Victorian designer, poet, craftsman, and socialist whose ideas about art, craft, ecology, and social justice continue to resonate today
Located in the Coach House and basement of Kelmscott House, Morris’s London residence from 1878 to 1896, the Society offers a welcoming museum and event venue within the historic setting where Morris both lived and worked.
