Attracted to the area by its neighbourhood feel, with a mix of galleries, boutique shops and restaurants, our Southern team felt it was the right place to expand our London presence. The new space will host regular exhibitions and evening events as well as being home to a team of Antiques, Asian Art and Jewellery specialists. Crucially visiting clients will also be able to benefit from on-street parking.
This exciting new location offers the opportunity to host a new and varied series of events, sale previews and exhibitions across all categories - including full previews of our London Fine Asian Works of Art and Select Jewellery & Watches auctions held in May and November each year. As well as these specific sale views, we will be regularly exhibiting future auction highlights across all categories in London in advance of the sales.
We are also intending to hold a series of small and focussed exhibitions in the gallery, which will be accompanied by related talks and events. To open this series our Scottish Art specialists presented Colourists at Connaught – a loan exhibition that offered guests a wonderful opportunity to view museum-quality, yet rarely exhibited, paintings by the four Scottish Colourists.
