Girard-Perregaux Achieves £15k for Charity

Sold to Benefit the AMAR Foundation

Benefitting the AMAR Foundation, this rare example of a Girard-Perregaux 18ct rose gold Classic Bridges model achieved a fantastic £15k for the charity in our 1st July 2021 auction of Select Jewellery & Watches.

The Classic Bridges model which sold in our July auction was a fine example from the Girard-Perregaux Bridges Collection. Our Summer 2021 auction proved extremely popular with both online and phone bidders. Offered to benefit the AMAR Foundation, this excellent example went on to achieve a hammer price of £15,000 for the charity.

An AMAR spokesperson has said the £15,000 rasied ‘will be put to good use and will end up funding around 8000 medical consultations in Iraq.’

The AMAR Foundation is an award-winning charity that builds and improves the lives and livelihoods of some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities.
