Enjoy a virtual tour through our Edinburgh saleroom of our auction of The Contents of Lowood House. This fascinating country house collection features paintings, furniture, works of art, silver, a library of books and a selection of rare European ceramics. The collection is led by an unrecorded Italian Istoriata Maiolica Dish dating to circa 1520-23, Archibald Thorburn's 'Ptarmigan in the Snow' and the de-luxe edition of David Roberts's 'Egypt and Nubia', with other highlights including an interesting group of paintings by Frederic Leighton and his circle, rare 18th century Worcester teawares, fine British & European silver, and King Louis Philipe’s 19th century marquetry centre table.
